Mood is a compact earbud and cable winder designed to make tangled wires less annoying. The idea started from a simple frustration: earbuds and small charging cables always end up messy in your pocket or bag. I wanted to turn that irritation into a small, useful object with a bit of character. The shape is minimal and square, but the sad face gives the product a recognizable personality. Instead of making a boring cable tool, Mood makes the problem feel more playful: it “untangles your mood” while keeping your cable organized. The design was developed through sketches, a SolidWorks model and a 3D printed test model. During the process I looked at the shape, grip, wall thickness, rounded edges and draft. The final concept is simple, compact and suitable as a one-piece injection moulded product.
